I have wondered since Tony died just when he
began to post here. I see it was December 2001.
He had just over two years to enjoy all of you
before his life was over. As his mother, I can tell
you that everybody he spoke to on the net were
his friends. He lost much needed sleep so he was
here to post and chat. Thank you is not enough.

Secondly, let me say that this poem is...

MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is written with a deft subtlety, that I find most beautiful... and humbling.

I am not surprised that Gala has named you Master Bard... for reading this, I knew I was in the presence of a Master.

I Know Her in Words

I know her in words, only words-
gathered like flowers for a vase
to grace a polished, ringless table
with eight chairs that never move.

And the song of her heart floats
across the symphany of tempest nights
to shelter the dawning of rebirth
in arms too white to touch death.

Distance is a hollow drain of time
that swallows might have beens
into the bowels of sleepless nights
under the scorn of the red moon.
