Hi Eric,

this reminds me so hauntingly of Arafel's Saga.
Of the silvered Sidhe, and of the Drow, the dark leaf.
The Fair Folk, kith of ash and oak, caretakers of a forest that was still awake.
Of those who knew things that mortal minds couldn't know, and those who went where the iron-bound coudn't go.
The dichotomy of Heart and Mind... of Knowing and Doing, of Being and Striving.
The Elven Grace, contrasts so sharply with Men, who are always just trying too hard.

I've thoroughly enjoyed your series of the Children of Dana. I love this couplet!
