The Respite has a long standing policy as acting as poetry archive, both formal and informal in nature.
In our six year history, we've made a point of never deleting anyone's work---unless they violate the site rules, and are banned. We have also been loathe to act like "the grown up spanking kids" by limiting personal posting---since many sites FORCE posting limits, a practice I find annoying...but I will ask politely that you try to make replies that equal your posting---and possibly reach back a bit, and draw back friends who think they've been forgotten!
If you are looking for a post that your recently made, and it looks missing, it has been moved to another forum---probably because more than three ot your posts are on the first page...and that means YOUR posts---not your replies. I don't think it is meant on purpose, but if the site looks like only two or three poeple post, it discourages our shyer friends from hanging about...
